Sub Projects

The following is a list of projects building on or extending the functionality of Mod_Survey. Feedback concerning these sub-projects can either be sent to the survey-devel list, or to their respective authors.

ILSE

ILSE is a graphical web-based survey editor. It supports, in principle, the full Mod_Survey syntax as of release 3.2.1, graphical overviews of survey chains, autodetection of routes, multiple users and more. ILSE has a separate homepage. ILSE is in release-candidate mode as of late december 2004.

ILSE is mainly developed by Martin Ertl, with heavy support from Eveca.

Web_survey

Web_Survey is a set of PHP scripts for managing populations and samples, contacting respondents via email, and keeping track of answers. Web_Survey does not have its own home page, but the latest tarball can be downloaded here. Web_Survey is developed by Mirko Pace.

Cough

Cough is a framework for hosting survey files via a web interface (rather than the normal shell access). cough is currently slumbering quietly and has not seen active development for some time. However, it was working well enough to perform a summer course in web questionnaired during summer 2004. Cough has its own homepage.
