Articles and other
In the end of January 2002, Christina Nilsson and Cecilia Bäckström presented their bachelor thesis Mixed Mode Surveying - A Comparison of Paper-questionnaires and Web-questionnaires (link leads to thesis as PDF). This is recommended reading for anyone working with web questionnaires. You can also read the abstract of the thesis.
In the beginning of January 2003, the same students presented their master thesis, Mixed Mode - Handling method-differences between paper and web questionnaires (8-page article, see also abstract). This is a very interesting continuation of their bachelor thesis, and a must read for people working with mixed mode surveying.
For a more general introduction to the usefulness of web surveys, please read Webbenkäter - tillförlitlig tillämpning? ("Web surveys - reliable application?") by the same authors. (Swedish version only as of now).
