Contributions
This page should list contributors so far, and a couple of hints about what you could do to help. It is heavily outdated and should be rewritten though.
The code is in CVS, so if you want to participate, mail me (see below) and ask for a CVS account with write access. If you can't stand CVS, you could always mail suggestions or patches. These are some suggestions on what could be done:
- Easy: Help suggesting new features for the next version. Currently, nothing much is decided, so all ideas are welcome.
- Easy: Test the (stable 3.0.x) system and report bugs, misspeligns and layout deficiencies.
- Easy: Help me redesign this page. It still sucks after I did a new design. My only requirements is that the page should follow XHTML-transitional standard, and that there should be little or no graphics. And, oh, it should be possible to view in lynx, netscape and IE.
- Easy: Write a couple of example survey files. The one I have is usable, but somewhat boring. An example with an external stylesheet layout would be especially welcome.
- Medium: Help me clean up, optimize and comment the existing code.
- Medium: Write more export formats (for developmental version). Examples might be Minitab native, Excel native (VB macro?), and RIB
- Medium: Implement frequency tables in descriptive statistics (Admin.pm).
- Medium: Write a grapical survey editor.
- Hard: Figure out what is making the left cells in the table layout change width with different captions (width property is set).
